Students will be introduced to a variety of styles of music and learn to sing collectively both in unison and in parts. Choral training helps students to build skills in ear training, musicianship and performance. Above all, instructor Annie Lee Moffett places an emphasis on healthy singing and vocal technique.

Tapping into children’s natural love of movement, singing, and play, Annie Lee Moffett inspires her young students to explore musical elements and to develop musical listening skills that form the foundation for future learning and instrument study.

Music, movement and delight combine in this guided exploration of songs, rhymes and musical games. Instructor Annie Lee Moffett encourages children to respond creatively to the music they share and supports their growth throughout the program. Class includes parent/caregiver participation.

Adult String Workshop (ages 18+) Wednesdays 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm – Lewis Davis Pavilion
The Adult String Workshop is designed for adult students who want to dust off their violins violas, or cellos.  Our String Workshop, under the baton of Steven Rochen, brings together like-minded adults to play music and perform! Our no-pressure group is non-auditioned and open to all orchestral string instruments. Though this class is open to all skill levels, beginning instruction and topics will be the focus.
