Last night’s celebration was a blast! Both during – and before – the fireworks!
As always, we hosted a July 4th party for residents and their guests.
And then we had front row seats to the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, which took place right on the East River!
Our amazing DJ: DJ Theo Phillips!
DJ Theo had us ALL dancing!
We had caricature artists too!
And Magician David Corsaro dazzled the little ones
Oooooh… Getting darker. The fireworks will soon begin!
And what fireworks they were! So spectacular! It just gets better and better every year.
(If you haven’t seen our
Time-Lapse Video of last year’s fireworks – it’s a must see! You get to watch the full festivities in under 2 minutes.)
More photos to come!

In celebration of the upcoming incredible
Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, taking place right in our backyard, here’s a amazing time-lapse video of last year’s view!
Once again, we’ll have the best view in town – right on the water at 25th Street!
As this is a private event, only open to Waterside Residents, there are no tickets available to the public – but the public is free to get a spot on the FDR, and
Curbed has a list of some other great places to watch the Fireworks.
Once again this 4th of July, we had front row seats to the fireworks – which was incredible!
The Macy’s fireworks took place on the East River – right in our “backyard”!
We also had a great pre-fireworks party with lots of entertainment. Our residents and their friends were a delight.
Our lovely greeters!
Our wonderful MC for the night was Nicholas Rodriguez who played Nick Chavez on ABC’s “One Life to Live”! He made his Broadway debut in Disney’s production of Tarzan, won the 2011 Helen Hayes Award for “Best Actor in a Musical” and was named “Top 10 Performers of 2010” in The New Yorker .
We had stilt-walkers, face-painting – and caricature artists!
– And a roving magician who delighted!
We also had a photo booth. Watersiders are so photogenic!
And the mayor came to visit!
The East Coast Band kept everyone dancing.
The colorful boats arrive – pre-fireworks
And the mesmerizing main event!
Thank you for joining us!

The Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks took place on the East River – right in our “backyard”!
Which made Waterside, once again, one of the
prime viewing sites in the City!
Watching the fireworks from this up-close and personal was nothing short of mesmerizing.
It was a 3D spectacular – with no need for the glasses!
