City Ballet The Podcast
Each Monday is new release, an exploration of NYCB, which brings you into the company’s history and present, and reveal insider tidbits. There will be “nine all-new episodes featuring discussions on some of the ballets included in the digital season programming.”
Wednesday with Wendy (All ages)
On Instagram Live: “A series of ballet-inspired movement classes taught by NYCB Associate Artistic Director Wendy Whelan. Each class will also be available after the livestream is complete on NYCB’s IGTV channel.”
Virtual Ballet Essentials Workshops (Adults)
Monday and Thursdays: “Tune in as NYCB artists lead viewers through a ballet warm-up and movement combination inspired by some of the Company’s iconic repertory. Stretch your mind and body with these one-of-a-kind virtual workshops.”
Ballet Breaks (Appropriate for Children Ages 3 – 8)
Saturday & Sunday Morning: “Join the artists of New York City Ballet for a series of lively movement activities, powered by Zoom. Each 20-minute Ballet Break Workshop will be taught by a NYCB dancer and will include a warm-up and choreography inspired by some of the Company’s most beloved ballets.”
