John Lobell: Radical Architecture of the 60s

(Open to the Public:) The Radical Architecture of the 1960’s: a richly illustrated lecture by John Lobell, Professor of Architecture at Pratt Institute.

When one thinks of the heady days of the 1960’s, protests, music and art come to mind. But the 60’s were also a time of radical new architecture from groups like Archigram in England, Super Studio in Italy to American architects as diverse as Robert Venturi ushering in Post Modernism, and Bucky Fuller building geodetic domes.
