Over the Memorial Day Weekend, there are over 270 performances – all at one location!

The free 24th Annual Lower Eastside Festival of the Arts takes place at Theater for the New City (155 First Ave. at 10th St.) – Friday May 24th to Sunday May 26th from 6pm to Midnight.

See theater, dance, music, art, video, film, aerial arts, poetry, a street fair and a film festival! Featuring entertainment from Academy Award Winner F. Murray Abraham, composer and conductor David Amram, Chinese Theatre Works, New Yiddish Rep and many more!

The shows reflects their neighborhood’s “heritage and New York City’s incredible diversity. This year’s theme is 2020 Vision – SAVE Our Planet, Save Our Country, a call for a green revolution and a more welcoming nation”.
