Healthy Habits – Early

High Intensity Interval Training Class

Waterside Swim & Health Club‘s Stu Lopoten leads some Year 10 British International School of New York students through a High Intensity Interval Training class!

This is a new weekly class, and there’s also one for younger kids outside on the plaza, as well as one for the BISNY faculty.

We’re excited to continue fostering the community between BISNY and Waterside – and to help instill healthy habits at a young age.

Stu: “While this generation is tied to their smartphones instead of the outdoor sports and recreation many of us grew up with, it’s important to try to break that habit if even for 30 minutes a day. It’s much harder to start healthy habits later in life – starting young and making it part of your routine, like making your bed and going to school/work, makes for a habit that will stick!”
