It’s the perfect time to cook more, create long simmered stews and soups to warm your home and your body. Join us to learn how to support and sustain good health by connecting to the best winter foods and cooking methods that restore and revive you for the chilly months ahead.
For the past 25 years Dorene Hyman has focused on acquiring knowledge and insight to encourage and enable health and wellness. She has a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and is a New York State licensed acupuncturist and nationally certified herbalist. Her additional studies in Eastern and Western nutrition significantly influence her understanding and practice when working with individuals to reclaim their health. She lectures on Chinese medicine and nutrition at various hospitals and workshops throughout NYC as well as teaches cooking classes. In addition, she is a certified personal trainer and instruct adults in physical fitness, including Tai Ji and Qigong.
