Which means, it’ll soon be time for one of the most beautiful and lively springtime activities in the city: Sakura Matsuri.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden‘s annual cherry blossom festival is a celebration of Japanese culture.

Partake in tea ceremonies, watch bands play exciting music: Japanese and Japanese-influenced (punky, high-energy rock, Japanese-inspired jazz, video-game-inspired songs), see taiko drumming, martial arts performances, a manga demonstration, enjoy modern and traditional Japanese dance, delight in unique origami (including Vaudeville Origami!), play games – and much more!
