Family Wildflower Day Tomorrow – at Solar One

Join Solar One tomorrow for “Family Wildflower Day” at Stuyvesant Cove Park.

Activities are from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Saturday, May 12, 2018), and include:

Diggin’ in The Dirt:

A child-led exploration of living soils and resident invertebrates in our children’s garden.

Native Bee Habitats:

Use plant stems and twine to create habitats for some of the 400 species of bees native to Manhattan.

Seed Bombs:

A hands on lesson in the Lower East Side’s cultural heritage of environmental art and activism.

And a Native Seed and Plant Exchange and Sale.
